Sewer Ferrobeiro was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Lava Lamps. He shut them out 2-0 on 3 hits with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.
The Alcatraz manager said, "Sewer was very aggressive tonight. He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
The losing manager had praise, too. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well. Ferrobeiro has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that offspeed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."

Watching Moshe Ursin getting helped off the field today at The Fallout Shelter, fans of the Bikini Island Bombers feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the shortstop will miss 1-2 weeks with a panty sniffing accident. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Ursin suffered the injury running the bases in the game against the Wandering Albatrosses.
Ursin is presently batting .263 with 1 home run, 2 runs scored and 5 RBIs. His OBP is .364. |
