Sherwood's Shotgun Poe had a very special day against the Trolls when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Sherwood Florists to a 19-4 win at Sir Loxley Memorial Ball FIeld. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Poe said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." S. Poe singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off G. Lombera in the 9th. For 1814 Poe is hitting .481 with 1 home run. His stats include 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
