 | Friday, July 1st, 1814: AIB's Best Starter is Render In June New Delhi starter Scotch Rocks Render mystified Association of Indian Baseball hitters and carried off the Pitcher of the Month honors by chalking up a 4-0 record in 5 starts. The 22-year-old Render added 36 strikeouts in 43.1 innings and 8 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.45 ERA. Opposing batters hit .195 against him. In 1814 Render has a 9-0 record with a 1.29 ERA in 13 starts. |
