Association of Indian Baseball News Article | | | Thursday, July 7th, 1814: Hengstenberg 5-5 for New Delhi After the New Delhi 5-4 victory over Bombay and his 5-hit day catcher Lorne Hengstenberg told SION beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game is very good...three or four hits even better...5 or more are out of sight...and if it is in pro ball...it is really something special. It will get you in the record books."
The 22-year-old player gained that distinction today at The Ashram with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the Bombay Doors.

L. Hengstenberg doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
