| Breaking News |  | Monday, September 27th, 1813: RIBC Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award
The Rude Island Baseball Congregation announced today that Coondog Brisco has been chosen the Supreme Tosser Award winner for 1813. The Isle of Man hurler had everything working for him as he cruised to a outstanding 15-12 record.
Brisco put up an impressive 2.26 ERA in his award-winning season. He started 35 times, worked 283.1 innings, yielded 238 hits, walked 62, fanned 247 and held opposing hitters to a .226 average.
The SION Baseball Writers Association will honor all of the award winners this weekend at its annual meeting. |
 | Sunday, September 19th, 1813: Forman Hurls Malta to Shutout Victory
Malta's Ultraviolet Forman brought his "A game" to the park, shutting down and shutting out the Isle of Man Whores 3-0. He racked up 6 strikeouts, surrendered 4 hits and issued 1 walk on his way to the victory.
This season Forman has gone 5-5 with an ERA of 3.41, posting 70 strikeouts in 116 innings.

 | Saturday, September 18th, 1813: Lium Hot, Whores Cold
Boggle Lium effectively shut down the Whores today, blanking them 7-0 on 3 hits, ringing up 9 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. The Labias pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on.
"I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Lium said after the game, "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there."
The Whores skipper said, "We had some opportunities, but weren't able to execute. We just didn't swing the bats very well today."
In the current season in 32 starts, Boggle Lium has a record of 15-8 with 142 strikeouts in 232 innings and a 2.44 ERA.
