Gho Stromb of the Assan Barage Brown-Capped Peckers was on fire against Hyderabad. He shut them down 5-0 on 2 hits and no runs with 11 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Stromb said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."

According to Gho Stromb of the Assan Barage Brown-Capped Peckers, "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location." He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 2-0 victory over Punjab.
He blanked them on a 6-hitter, allowed 1 walk and had 11 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Stromb said.
His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again."
