| Breaking News |  | Monday, July 18th, 1814: AIB Votes New Delhi Third Baseman Top Player This week's standout performer in the Association of Indian Baseball was third baseman Tweetie Raudales of the New Delhi Llamas.
He belted out a .583 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Raudales collected 14 hits in 24 at-bats and no home runs, drove in 4 runs and scored 5 times.
This season Raudales has delivered 107 hits in 296 at-bats for a .361 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .383 clip and his totals also include 42 RBIs and 33 runs scored. This year Raudales has played in 80 games. |  | Friday, July 15th, 1814: New Delhi Wins, Blanks Red Dots In an outstanding outing, Scotch Rocks Render tamed Jodhpur on a 3-hit shutout. The New Delhi hurler went the distance, finishing with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 3-0 win.
"He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Jodhpur manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
In 1814 Render has a 12-0 record with a 1.23 ERA. |  | Saturday, July 9th, 1814: Llamas Blank Sitar Heroes, Render Wins The Sitar Heroes manager was philosophical after his team was shut out by the New Delhi Llamas 5-0.
"It was just one of those games, shake it off and do better next time," he said.
Scotch Rocks Render blanked them on 3 hits with 2 walks and 10 strikeouts.
"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs. They were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Render said.
"I set them up pretty good, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."
